I have adverts on my website using Google Adsense and i was wondering how many clicks or/and impressions (page views) do you need to begin making money?

I used google adsense for a year, and i only made around £200, which certainly got my money back from paying £10 for a website per month. I only got around 100-200 hits per day on my website so if you get more traffic on your website i’m sure you’ll be making way more than £200.

I’ve been reading alot of peoples answer to peoples questions about making money online. Most of the answers are negative. I would like to no why?

A lot of people are afraid of EVERYTHING in life. Online money making is not a myth, there are literally millions of people making money online. I am one of them
I used to be a Delivery manager in a software company and I left it and make a money online, it is definitely more exciting than just developing sites for others. I have also developed a site to help other people, you can check it for resources.
The reason people are afraid is because it is virtual, you really cant SEE most aspects of it so it feels like mumbo jumbo, but keep in mind that there are only the points listed below that are needed for success.
1. Find a product that people are willing to buy.
2. Buy, or work for traffic that costs you less money than conversion factor. On a an average you will make 1-2 sales per 100 people to your site. It is dependent on your product and price too. But this rule should generally hold. So if you spend $25 for this traffic and you get $29 per sale you are in green.
3. Make the sales process as easy as possible, do not ask too many questions before sale.
4. During the 3 steps above, ask and get a visitors email .
5. Start a newsletter and send the emails interesting information, you can try selling them something every 5th mail or so.
That’s all there is to selling and making money online.

What do you think is more important? making money or making friends?

Making money because even if you have no friends you will have no issues meeting new people because you will have the money to go out and meet new people

I have been fortunate enough to have been able to do really well making money online. However, it makes me pretty sad in this industry that so many people struggle.

The biggest problem with me is getting traffic. It is really hard to get traffic to my websites because there is soo much competition out there for the same keyword. Getting to the first page on Google for a keyword is difficult. Like here are 2 of my websites.

They are both indexed in Google, however they are not ranked very well, like on page 6 or something. I only want to do SEO because I don’t have that much money to be risking adwords and ppc and stuff like that.

The only thing that holds us back from making money is us. It is all a mindset and if we can overcome the things that we are accustomed to, then we can achieve all things.

Not having confidence in your capabilities, working with people who harrass you on a daily basis that gives your defeatist feelings, a decision to not pursue something greater for something else (eg. choosing family over career). There are so many reasons.
